Our Services
Bolawole Enterprises Nigeria Limited (BENL) is a joint venture company incorporated in Nigeria in 1986.
The company is engaged in the business of agricultural commodities
Agricultural farm plantations
In line with backward integration, the company has acquired a number of Palm tree plantations and Cocoa farms for enhancing her business activities. In addition, the company has taken over Lesag Nigeria Ltd, a Crude Palm Kernel processing company. Here “Bolawole” has blazed the trail by successfully exporting Crude Palm Kernel Oil and Palm Kernel Cake.
Exportation of Agricultural Commodities
We export agricultural commodities, especially cocoa beans, around the world to markets including Europe, the US and Canada. The company’s success is built on a commitment to sustainability, encouraging better agricultural practices that deliver better conditions for farmers and farmhands, and a better quality product.
With the support of the Federal Government Initiatives Nigerian Export Promotion Council; a number of policies have been introduced aimed at encouraging exporters especially those that have been adding value to their products. All these efforts have cumulatively given BENL an excellent track record in procurement and export of our products to world cocoa leaders like Barry Callebaut Sourcing AG, ADM and KVB of Germany.
Training and Support for Cocoa Farmers
We now support Cocoa producers through farm extension services; supplying chemicals at times at subsidized rates. In addition, To this end, BENL has ventured into the new commodity trend of product traceability scheme which is now on-going amongst the end-users. we have grouped farmers and trained them on the development and enhancement of the growth of Cocoa.
All the stated achievements have been made possible through the existence of institutions such as the NEPC. Through its policies, support, guidance workshops and collaborations with the overseas market. They have really made the non-oil export sector of the economy an engine room for economic growth and employment generations. It is, therefore, our belief that such a parastatal of Govt should be further encouraged so as to reduce Nigeria over-dependence on the oil sector.

It is the next plan and discussion is still ongoing.
Support and Investment
To further enhance her export potential and generate employment opportunities in the economy, “Bolawole” has invested heavily in Weighbridges, Cocoa dryers, Cleaning and Separating machines and various Laboratory Equipments all to ensure 100% inspection of the goods before shipment in a bid to upgrade the quality of Cocoa beans exported from Nigeria to meet world standard.
For the welfare of the farmers and their communities, “Bolawole” has commenced in Osun State a program for setting up of a rural clinic to take care of the farmers and their families within the rural farms. The company intends to extend this to other states of Nigeria in future.
